An evening remembering those who fought to defend Israel and have died in terror attacks, followed by celebrating Israel’s 71st birthday!
It was heartening to see such a large turnout for the Yom HaShoah remembrance this year. Candles were lit and also people took home a candle to light for those who have no one to remember them, part of the Maccabi GB Yellow Candle initiative.

Everyone had a marvelous time at the sold-out Cream Tea event. Thank you to Marilyn Salt for organising it and to all her helpers, and to the band “Covers Blown”, they got everyone up dancing!
